Pitch Shift
Effects
Up or down, same tempo.
Pitch Shift moves the sound up or down in cents, a hundred to a semitone, and keeps its speed. Rate changes its speed and keeps its pitch. A higher overlap leaves fewer artefacts and takes more processing. It is a time effect, so it can’t sit between a split and the mixer that joins it.
