Varispeed
Effects
Speed and pitch together.
Varispeed changes speed and pitch together, like changing a tape’s speed. At twice the rate, a sound takes half as long and plays an octave higher; at half the rate, it takes twice as long and plays an octave lower. Use Pitch Shift to change pitch and speed independently. As a time effect, Varispeed can’t sit between a split and the mixer that joins it.
